So. Long time no update.

I’m still working away on my final film from uni in and out of other jobs. But I’ve just passed the half way point on clean up and colour. To celebrate here’s 2 shots from the film all sparkly and clean!

Time to bring this baby home!!

Also, some pretty exciting news on the horizon work wise. Stay tuned for more :D

Toonboom training

So I recently got back from a 2 week stay in Dublin learning Toonboom Harmony. The first week was with a guy from toonboom teaching us the technical stuff, and the second week was with 2 guys from Mercury Filmworks (Jeff and Phil) teaching us how to actually animate.

It was an awesome experience and only wish it was longer! If it wasn’t for the Mickey mouse shorts and Wander over Yonder I would have never known about Mercury Filmworks or the course. So it only seemed fitting that I do a little thank you sketch with both characters.

Cheers guys!!!

Animation Course Selifie

A brief interview sort of thing for my university. They supplied the questions, I supplied the answers and terrible video.

Apologies about the video though, unemployment means I have to rely on phone cameras that cant decide whether to focus on myself or my cintiq so it jumps back and forth constantly. The Lighting is terrible as well so you cant really see whats on the Cintiq, so if you do fancy checking out my work, please stop by:

Hope it helps people out. Enjoy!
